Project: Upgraded Champion  make shift sun room to a proper stick built sun room.  Stick built enabled us to install insulation to make the room more comfortable.

Working with your people was very satisfying. Your lead man, Brian, was meticulous and always kept us informed. He has an impressive work ethic and was always punctual. Those who assisted him were also good workers, especially David. They all cleaned up the work area daily. Christin Gustafsson was invaluable to us throughout the project, explaining what would happen and when, assisting us with choices of materials, advising us of costs, and generally being the all around point person. Chris Sampson is a high profile company owner and was available to us throughout. It is obvious he takes pride in maintaining a good relationship with clients and leaving them with a satisfactory outcome.

Project : Bathroom remodel

I called custom construction with some ideas for my bathroom.  Chris and his team came out and demolished my bathroom.  They found hidden electrical connections and 2 plumbing leaks.  Chris explained the issues that arose when they opened the walls and a plan to correct them.  The remodel stayed in budget even with the surprises in the walls.  I love my new bathroom.  Now Chris is working on my neighbor’s kitchen.  Can not say enough about them. Fantastic work.

Project : Screen Porch Addition

Project : Kitchen renovation

Hey Chris,

It seems like you should be showing up at the house, we’ve gotten so used to talking with you.  Please feel free to use part or all of this email to post on your website. Do stop by sometime, maybe we can share a meal in my new Custom Construction & Remodeling kitchen!

We invited Chris to our home to estimate and help design our kitchen remodel.  Our house is well over 40 years old and was LONG overdue for an update.  Our appointment was set for July 27th and I was very impressed when he showed up on time.  He explained what he is qualified to do.  We explained how we wanted the kitchen laid out.  We explained all the problems we have had over the years and our concerns.  We also insisted on using the electrical contractor that we were already established with to handle wiring issues,  and we had many wiring issues.  We had plumbing issues as well.  At the end of the meeting, he said he would have a design and estimate ready for us by the 30th.  Just 3 days!

Chris was ready as promised and showed the design to us on July 30th.  I was very impressed.  His drawing was EXACTLY the way I asked him to make the design.  He made useful suggestions, both creative and useful. His estimate was within our budget.  Chris’s estimate was supposed to be the 1st of at least 4 estimates that we usually seek before beginning a project.  I told my husband that there wasn’t any need to talk to anyone else.  We took a huge leap of faith and hired him that night.

Chris made himself available to us anytime during the project.  We were able to discuss problems that popped up along the way and worked together to solve them.  The carpenters and painters were very respectful of our home and did high quality work.  They were pleasant and easy to work with as well.  We had to have utility, plumbing and electrical contractors involved.  Chris was able to come up with a schedule that allowed for each service to have the time and space they needed to complete their end of the project.

Our tear out began on August 24th and the job was complete on September 14th.  We are very pleased with the results.  The issue that has impressed me the most is that Chris takes the time to LISTEN. I have no hesitation about recommending Custom Construction & Renovation.  We have another renovation project for 2011 and you can bet that I will call Chris Sampson first.

Thank you Chris, Randall and Barry for a job well done! (we’re having Turkey for supper, ya’ll come!)
