This addition of custom cabinetry took an awkward entry area to the master bedroom of a beautiful historic home built in 1941 and transformed it into a usable dressing area. We began by removing a hinged closet door and installing a space saving pocket door. The cabinetry includes a cedar lined bench seat with a hinged top for inside storage, 4 deep drawers with open cabinets above, and a tall wardrobe with full length mirror. It was custom built for the space and designed to complement the home’s character and historic charm. The piece was finished in a rich mahogany stain with copper drawer pulls.
