Screen Porch #4

This custom screen porch patio cover was built as an addition to an existing home in the Sedgefield neighborhood of Greensboro, NC.  Our client there chose an exposed rafter design with a shed type roof.  The exposed rafter style really complimented the design of the existing home’s cathedral wood plank ceilings.

A screened porch with pressure treated post and beam structure is the key to having a lasting beautiful outdoor room.  The exterior is finished with the “screen tight” system including white vinyl trim and snap on tracks.  The interior was painted and wired with  outlets and a ceiling fan.

Custom Electric of NC, Inc. performed the high quality electrical work to make the ceiling fan and receptacles work and meet current code requirements.   As with all electrical work, be sure to get a licensed electrician to install the breaker panel, wiring, and fixtures.  This will keep your family safe and fixtures working properly for years to come.
